On The Road And On The Way

View from the cab on GA-15 heading North.

We set out around 1pm to make the 6-hour trek to Wrens, GA by way of US-1. This major truck thoroughfare is barely used much anymore with the interstate systems holding the majority of the traffic. So, it was a nice and leisurely ride North from Jacksonville.

Pulled into Boss’s RV Park in Wrens, GA about 6:30pm and it really is nice when the owners greet you by name when arriving at the park.

We have stayed here several times while we take our son back and forth from college between semesters. He has 1 more year, so we get to stay at Boss’s at least a few more times.

We discovered that the LED strip above the back door (that was supposed to be repaired before leaving) was hanging by the wires and apparently flapping in the breeze as we drove. No wonder nobody stayed behind us long.

Woke up to some beautiful sights and just want to share:

Heading to Florence, SC tomorrow morning, but I’m gonna make sure to snag some sunrise pics before we leave. Updates to come!
