Dinner at home is amazing. You get to chose the dinner and enjoy the process of cooking. Moments like this are rare now. Not like 20 years ago. I figure we all long for other days and then forget about the right now, this very moment.
Take a moment tonight and think about what is missing in your life that you remember from days of your youth. Maybe you should bring those good moments to your children. Don’t make it a lecture, just make that old recipe with them. Take a moment and teach the next generation.
I have found that with my children that they want to learn the old recipes. They want to know how to do things, even when they fight it.
Let’s learn together, let your children teach you as well. Take a moment and learn a part of their culture they are immersed in today. It will move mountains with your relationship with them.
